Location: Canary Wharf
Salary: Up to £53,000 plus HV allowance
Shift Pattern: Continental shifts (days and nights)
Role Overview:
As the HVAP Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of our critical building. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers on site, while the technical supervisor will manage the broader maintenance team. This is a key position that requires high-voltage approval (HVAP) and a strong background in facilities management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead a team of engineers to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Ensure all HVAP protocols and safety procedures are strictly followed.
- Coordinate with the technical supervisor to align maintenance activities and team efforts.
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-voltage systems.
- Maintain detailed records and reports of all maintenance activities.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team, ensuring high standards of work.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High-voltage approval (HVAP) certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a critical environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work continental shifts, including days and nights.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
