Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Billable Works projects are delivered safely, within agreed timelines and budget.
  • Oversee and manage the Statutory Compliance state of sites within the area of responsibility.
  • Identify opportunities on establishments to support the MoD’s Net Zero carbon reduction targets and initiate Billable Works initiatives to achieve them.
  • Monitor and manage the Supply Partners project teams to ensure suitably qualified and experienced operatives are directed to relevant tasks.
  • Ensure all operatives have appropriate vehicles, equipment, and skills to perform relevant tasks.
  • Review Supply Partners Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure they are of an acceptable standard.
  • Confer with local DIO representatives, the Local Customer Service Representative, and the relevant Site Manager to agree on the scope & priorities of Billable Works regularly.
  • You will be managing mainly heating maintenance projects across 8 sites in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and Leicestershire.
  • You must be willing and able to travel between all 8 sites as the business demands.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experienced Project Manager from an M&E background, ideally in commercial heating.
  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good understanding of Asbestos Awareness, IOSH Managing Safely, and Legionella Control (L8).
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to pass SC Clearance.
