Role Overview: As a Days and Nights Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the historic and renowned National Gallery in London. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance across the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies during both day and night shifts.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and report any issues promptly.
Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a strong electrical or mechanical bias with relevant qualifications.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Has prior experience in facilities maintenance or property maintenance.
- Is flexible and willing to work a rotating shift pattern, including days and nights.
- Exhibits strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
