Our client is looking for an established Boiler Engineer to join their existing team of engineer to work across a large scientific site in NW1.

The ideal candidate will have previous FM experience and ideally hold a BOAS qualification.

You will be responsible to ensure all conditions are maintained at all times with regard to critical building systems.

To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive and breakdown works. Must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge of CRAC units, steam boilers, LTHW boilers, steam systems and AHU's, which will include the ability to fault find using the production of graphical information and the utilisation of current alarm

  • Ensure the steam and LTHW boilers are maintained as per OEM specifications
  • Undertake Boiler & Pressure System Authorized Person (AP) duties when required
  • To provide assistance to the autoclave engineer where required
  • Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.
  • Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
  • Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.

Good all round knowledge of general building works, diagnostic and repair procedures, working knowledge of building services systems and maintenance schedules.
