Assistant Facilities Manager (M&E Hard Services Bias)
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

We’re recruiting for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join a well-established facilities management company working on a high-profile contract for a renowned energy supplier. You’ll take charge of a dynamic and busy site in Bridgwater, welcoming around 150 visitors daily, including internal staff and external VIPs.
Key Responsibilities for an Assistant Facilities Manager:
- Maintenance Management: Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring compliance and high standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage a skilled team of 3 engineers and 6 security staff, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
- Operational Excellence: Coordinate site operations, focusing on efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including VIP visitors, to ensure seamless site operations.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain site compliance with regulations and provide regular updates to senior management.
Qualifications/Experience required for an Assistant Facilities Manager:
- A background in hard services, with experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Experience in facilities management within a high-profile or customer-facing environment is desirable.
