About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced M&E Delivery Manager / Site Manager to join our team in Fawley, managing mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects up to £1 million. This role is designed to transition from a temporary position to a permanent role after six months, offering an ideal opportunity for someone ready to advance their career within a stable and growing company. In this role, you’ll oversee M&E project delivery from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of M&E projects on-site, coordinating all day-to-day operations and addressing any issues promptly
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and all on-site personnel to meet project milestones, standards, and client expectations
- Monitor and report on budgets, schedules, and project deliverables, keeping senior management updated on progress
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Maintain quality control over all M&E installations, testing, and commissioning processes
- Identify and address potential risks, implementing strategies to ensure timely, on-budget project completion
- Foster a positive, safety-focused work environment, motivating the team to meet project goals
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or Site Manager with a background in M&E project management, ideally with project values up to £1M
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations, systems, and safety requirements
- Familiarity with M&E-specific health, safety, and compliance standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools is a plus
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability to dynamic work environments
