What You'll Be Doing:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Lead the delivery of PPM programs across 8 schools, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Reactive Maintenance: Swiftly respond to and resolve reactive building fabric issues, keeping our schools running smoothly.
- Installation & Repairs: Execute installations and repairs to the highest standards, following all current regulations.
- Multi-Disciplinary Support: Provide valuable assistance with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical tasks when needed.
- Project Involvement: Play an active role in project planning, cost estimation, and managing critical spares.
- Safety First: Work according to site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our dedicated team to exceed client expectations and deliver exceptional results.
- Customer Service: Engage with clients, providing friendly and professional service at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications & Experience:
- City & Guilds certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in building fabric maintenance.
- Experience in mechanical and plumbing maintenance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using CAFM systems and PDAs for maintenance tasks.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to manage workload and meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
- Requirements:
- A clean driving license.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
- Eligibility for Enhanced DBS Clearance.
