Facilities Manager Role – Stoke & Crosby

Salary on offer – up to £50,000 + car allowance
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

 You will have multi-site experience and be happy working autonomously, building and managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and contractors. Ideally you will have qualification / seasoned technical background , compliance and H&S knowledge., you be comfortable with spreadsheets and maintain reporting documents

About the role:
The role will report into the Head of Operations and work closely with site team & subcontractors, covering 2 sites, one in Stoke and the second in Crosby.
 With a proven experience of managing a PFI facility of a multi-site organisation to ensure a safe, efficient and cost-effective working environment. You will have experience in sourcing and managing internal and external contractors and coordinating essential hard and soft services. This role will suit a highly organised individual with excellent communication and an in-depth knowledge of facilities management. You must have good Health and Safety knowledge as you will be responsible for ensuring all buildings meet UK regulations and any relevant qualifications would be highly desirable.

The role does lend to progression / promotion within the management structure, with assisting the future expansion of a FM team including internal operatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Building Services & Facilities
  • Supporting a dedicated financial manager
  • Lead and direct contractors to agreed SLA’s
  • Monthly Reporting, to both the client and internal management
  • Attend Client facing meetings
  • Agreeing and ensuring PPM’s and reactive task management is delivered by external contractors for all equipment and infrastructure
  • Ensure members perceive exceptional value and excellence of service
  • Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications, to enable energy efficiency to be maintained where necessary
  • Provide overall leadership, administration (and as required) negotiation of all FM contracts
  • Timely delivery of core facility services on a daily operational basis
  • Ensure building maintenance is in accordance with the terms of the occupancy lease
  • Ensures that our facilities move forward in line with our Carbon Net Zero strategy
  • Ensures that our facilities management complies with Health & Safety regulations
  • Project Management
  • Assist in future construction & expansion of a FM team within the Midlands region
