We are expanding our operations into Birmingham and seeking a skilled HVAC Service Engineer to join our team.
The role primarily involves working on chilled water and heating systems, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), and 4-pipe fan coil units.
The engineer will also carry out additional facilities management tasks such as emergency light testing and water temperature monitoring.
Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on 4-pipe fan coil units and associated ventilation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including chilled water and heating systems (commercial boilers, chillers, AHUs).

Facilities Support
- Perform basic facilities management tasks, such as emergency light testing and water temperature monitoring.

Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all work complies with SFG20 maintenance standards.
- Complete and upload PPM, reactive, and remedial reports via the client’s Elogbook portal or the in-house CAFM system (training provided).

Additional Duties
- Participate in evening or weekend planned maintenance schedules as required, with overtime available.
Qualifications

Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in HVAC, Building Services, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in HVAC Wet Systems.

Preferred:
- F-Gas certification (beneficial but not mandatory).
