We specialize in delivering high-quality plumbing and mechanical services to commercial and residential clients, and we are now offering a unique opportunity for a Junior Plumber to join our team and be trained up into a fully qualified Mechanical Engineer.
This role is ideal for someone based in or around Leighton Buzzard, who is eager to expand their skills and take the next step in their career.
The Role
As a Junior Plumber, you will work alongside an experienced engineer, primarily travelling to London for various projects. You’ll be involved in all aspects of plumbing and mechanical engineering, learning on the job while receiving structured training that will equip you with the skills to become a fully qualified Mechanical Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Travel into London with a senior engineer to support a range of projects.
- Learn and develop skills in mechanical engineering, including HVAC systems, boilers, and mechanical plant maintenance.
- Work towards achieving qualifications to become a fully competent Mechanical Engineer.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Some experience in plumbing (apprenticeship or junior role) is essential.
- A willingness to learn and progress within the mechanical engineering field.
- Based in or near Leighton Buzzard and willing to travel daily into London.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Full UK driving license is beneficial but not essential.
