Maintenance Planner

Northwest London, UB6

£35,000 + Overtime

Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

This client is a well established FM company seeking an experienced maintenance planner & coordinator to work within their office environment. They are looking for someone that is eager to learn and grow within the company as they are expanding with currently over 60 employees total, looking to increase even more due to winning contracts all over London.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Maintenance Planner:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive maintenance plans outlining PPM schedules, reactive maintenance, and quoted works projects, considering client requirements, job specifications, and regulatory compliance.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.
  • Schedule Management: Monitor maintenance schedules, prioritize reactive maintenance requests, and coordinate service visits to minimize downtime and disruption to clients' operations.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks to maintenance contracts/projects, such as equipment failures, resource shortages, or health and safety hazards, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Communication Coordination: Facilitate communication among maintenance teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear and timely exchange of information, compliance with contractual requirements, and resolution of issues.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including Job logic, inspection reports, and project documentation
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs for maintenance contracts / projects, such as PPM compliance, response times, resolution rates, and client satisfaction scores, to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
