Job Title: Mobile Electrician
Location: East Midlands (Tamworth, Leicester, Coventry)
Salary: Up to £42k (Door-to-Door Pay)
Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday-Friday (Flexible Start/Finish Times)
Call-Out Rota: 1 in 4 (Overtime paid at 1.5x rate)
Van & Fuel Card: Provided (Available for Private Use)
Tools: All Necessary Tools Provided
Contract: Covering around 250 stores.
Role Overview:
Our Client are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Mobile Electrician to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to work across various retail sites in the East Midlands, including major retail clients. As a Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring that electrical systems are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance (40% PPM, 60% reactive work)

Carry out small works and installations (5% of role)

Maintain electrical systems across 250 stores, including key retailers

Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), meeting response times such as 4-hour, 24-hour, 72-hour, and 30-day intervals

Act as a client-facing representative, providing a high level of service and professionalism on site

Participate in a 1 in 4 call-out rota, responding promptly to emergencies
Qualifications & Experience:

NVQ Level 2 or Equivalent in Electrical Installation or relevant field (essential)

Previous experience as a mobile electrician, ideally within commercial or retail environments

Strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve faults

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently
