Job Overview- 

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team at a large static site in Peterborough. This role is ideal for an electrically qualified professional with a mechanical understanding, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining and improving site facilities.

Key Responsibilities as Multi Skilled Engineer-

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and site safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical installations, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Carry out minor mechanical repairs and assist with general building maintenance when required.
• Work collaboratively with the wider facilities and maintenance team to ensure site operations run smoothly.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any major issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Electrical qualification (e.g., 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2330 or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role, ideally within a static site environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform basic mechanical tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
