Air Conditioning and Heating Engineer
Location: Teesside
Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum
Company: Leading Facilities Management Provider

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Air Conditioning and Heating Engineer to join our clients team in Teesside. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance services . You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems for our high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and heating systems
  • Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently.
  • Perform installations, commissioning, and servicing of HVAC systems.
  • Carry out general maintenance across the site including fabric and mechanical related tasks as well basic electrical fault finding
  • Work to health and safety guidelines, maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • City & Guilds 2079 (F-Gas) certification.
  • Level 2/3 City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems or NVQ Level 2/3 Heating and Ventilation
  • Proven experience working with HVAC systems in a commercial environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in facilities management or with high-profile commercial clients.
  • Additional qualifications such as NVQ or other industry-specific training.
