We are currently recruiting for a Technical Supervisor for our client, based in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong electrical background to take on a supervisory role, managing a small team of multi-trade engineers across a commercial office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of 2 multi-skilled engineers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and within the agreed service levels.
- Oversee the completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and ensure these are delivered within the service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring a high level of workmanship and safety.
- Manage contractors, including issuing permits to work and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes and manage the procurement of necessary materials.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring all maintenance tasks are prioritised effectively.
- Take responsibility for ensuring the team adheres to operational policies and standards.
- Proven supervisory experience, ideally within a facilities or maintenance environment.
- Strong electrical background with hands-on experience in commercial settings.
- Ability to manage and oversee multi-trade engineers, ensuring productivity and quality standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Experience in issuing permits to work and managing contractors.
- Good organisational skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritise workloads.
